streamplot

Mark.STREAMPLOT and streamplot(): a vector field as streamlines – curves a particle released into the field would follow.

A glyph field (quiver(), barbs()) shows the vector at each sample; a streamplot shows where a particle goes. For anything about transport – currents, wind at scale, a force or flow field – the streamline is the readable form, because the eye follows a continuous curve and cannot integrate a grid of arrows by itself.

Not Mark.STREAMGRAPH (streamgraph.mojo), which shares only the word: that is a stacked area chart with a wiggle baseline, for composition over time. This one integrates a vector field.

This is a numerical problem before it is a drawing one, and the picture depends far more on the integrator, the seeding and the termination rule than on the stroking. The three are _rk4_step, _seed_order and _trace; each has its own docstring, and tests/test_field_marks.mojo pins both against fields whose exact streamlines are known.
